Questions

Is DMV Metro Tracker free?
Yes. The web app, Android app, and upcoming iOS app are free, with no account and no ads.
Where do the live train and bus times come from?
Metrorail and Metrobus arrivals, train positions, alerts, and elevator outages come from WMATA's public API and refresh every few seconds. MARC and VRE trains come from each agency's live feed.
Does it cover more than Metro?
Yes. Alongside Metrorail and Metrobus it shows MARC and VRE commuter trains, local buses like DASH, ART, Ride On, TheBus, and Fairfax Connector, Capital Bikeshare docks, and scooters.
Can I see when the next train comes to my station?
Open the app and tap any station for minute-by-minute arrivals on every line, or browse the station pages below for each station's lines, hours, and first and last trains.
